Introduction
-------------------

Symantec Cloud Email Security 2.1 Patch-1 Hotfix-2 release is for Ensim customers who have Symantec Cloud Email Security 2.1 Patch-1 Hotfix-1 installed.

Symantec Cloud Email Security 2.1 Patch-1 Hotfix-2 contains the following modification.

 

Enhancement
--------------------------

The following enhancement has been fixed in Hotfix 2 release:

Bug 16137 - During Order ProvisionEmailTLSEncryptionService is set to false in the payload of ProvisionOrganization call to avoid charges for TLS encryption service.

Solution: Issue fixed in SymantecCloudAPIConnector

 

Binary Changes
--------------------------

Hotfix 2 includes the following modified binaries:

FEPlugin

      ESCM-DataFiles

           lib

  •  SymantecCloudAPIConnector.jar (md5sum:734c3c4af05c3d37764c402a12d34408)

 

BEPlugin

  •  SymantecCloudAPIConnector.jar (md5sum:734c3c4af05c3d37764c402a12d34408)

Installation Procedure
--------------------------------------------

To install Symantec Cloud Email Security 2.1 Patch 1 Hotfix 2 binaries, complete the following steps:

  1. Stop Tomcat service.
  2. Stop Provisioning Engine (PE).
  3. Take a backup of '<ProvisioningEngine Tool Location>\BEPlugin' folder.
  4. Copy the 'SymantecCloudAPIConnector.jar' file from 'EnsimSCSManager-2.1_Patch-1_Hotfix-2.zip\BEPlugin' to '<ProvisioningEngine Tool Location>\BEPlugin'. Replace the existing file.
  5. Take a backup of '<tomcat location>\ESCM-DataFiles\lib' folder.
  6. Copy the 'SymantecCloudAPIConnector.jar' file from 'EnsimSCSManager-2.1_Patch-1_Hotfix-2.zip\FEPlugin\ESCM-DataFiles\lib' to '<tomcat location>\ESCM-DataFiles\lib'. Replace the existing file.
  7. Start Tomcat service.
  8. Start Provisioning Engine (PE).
