Knowledge Base: “Enable discounts while ordering” checkbox is missing in the Offer creation page

Symptom: In the offer creation page, under Item Configuration Details, the checkbox “Enable discounts while ordering” is not appearing.

 

Cause: Under Global Configuration -> Product Management, "Enable Discount" is not checked. Hence, the enable discounts checkbox is not appearing in the offer page under Item Configuration Details.

 

Resolution: Perform the following steps in the CloudBlue portal for resolving this issue:

For Service Provider Login:

  • Login with the Service provider credentials in the CloudBlue portal.
  • Navigate to Global configuration -> Product Management.
  • Enable the checkbox “Enable discounts” and provide the mail id for “Discount Approver Email” who will approve the provided discount at the offer level.

 

 

  • After performing the above steps, the “Enable discounts while ordering” checkbox will appear in the offer creation page, under “Item Configuration Details”.

For Reseller Login:

  • Login with the Reseller credentials in the CloudBlue portal.
  • Navigate to Global configuration -> Product Management.
  • Enable the checkbox “Enable discounts” and provide the mail id for “Discount Approver Email”.

  • After performing the above steps, the “Enable discounts while ordering” checkbox will appear in the offer creation page, under “Item Configuration Details”.
